Challenge

The main technical challenge was synchronization. The client was already using a specialized, external third-party software to manage their car fleet, availability, and scheduling. Instead of forcing them to manage bookings in two different places, I had to find a reliable way to connect Webflow with their external system, ensuring that real-time vehicle availability and booking dates matched perfectly without any overlapping or double-bookings.

Solution

To solve this, I built a custom integration that bridges Webflow's frontend with the client's external management application. By utilizing Webflow CMS alongside automated logic and webhooks, I created a dynamic booking bridge. When a user selects dates and requests a vehicle on the site, the system instantly communicates with the external API to check real-time slots and lock the reservation.

The main challenge was building a site that could display hundreds of high-resolution concert photos without hurting performance, especially on mobile.
